Wott AI Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Wott Technologies ("WOTT", "we", "us", or "our") concerning your use of Wott AI and related services.

By creating an account, accessing the service, connecting a third-party integration, or otherwise using Wott AI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Wott AI on behalf of an organization, company, school, team, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on that entity's behalf. In that case, "you" includes that organization.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the service.

Wott AI provides an AI-powered workspace for organizing, creating, searching, understanding, and collaborating on knowledge and content.

Depending on your account, subscription, workspace configuration, and available features, the service may include projects, notebooks, files, search and indexing, AI-assisted workflows, collaboration, project sharing, integrations, and related productivity features.

Features may change over time as we develop, improve, replace, or discontinue parts of the service. We may introduce new features, modify existing features, or remove features when reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, or operational reasons.

Some features may be available only on particular plans, including individual, team, or enterprise plans.

You must provide information that is accurate and reasonably current when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account, except to the extent that unauthorized activity results from our failure to maintain reasonable security measures.

You must promptly notify us if you believe that your account has been compromised, accessed without authorization, or otherwise used improperly.

You may not use another person's account without authorization, impersonate another person or organization, or create an account for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

Wott AI allows users to organize information into projects and related notebooks, files, and other project resources.

A project may contain content created or uploaded by you and may also contain content contributed by other authorized members.

Project ownership, membership, visibility, and permissions determine who may access or modify project resources.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to create, upload, store, share, or otherwise use content within a project.

Wott AI may provide collaboration features that allow project owners to invite other users and assign permissions.

Depending on the workspace and project configuration, collaboration may use roles such as Owner, Admin, and Member. The permissions associated with each role may differ and may be updated as the service evolves.

Owners and administrators are responsible for managing membership and permissions appropriately and for ensuring that users receive only the access necessary for their role.

A user with permission to access a project may be able to view, create, modify, organize, or otherwise interact with project resources according to the permissions assigned to that user.

Removing a user's membership or changing their role may affect their ability to access project resources. Changes to permissions do not necessarily delete content previously created by that user.

Wott AI may allow you to control the visibility of projects and associated content.

Depending on the available configuration, a project may be kept private, shared with authorized members, or made publicly accessible.

When you intentionally make a project or resource public, you understand that information contained in the public resource may be accessible to people who are not members of your private workspace.

Public sharing may allow a project to be accessed through a public URL or other publicly accessible mechanism provided by the service.

You are responsible for reviewing content before making it public and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to publish it.

An unlisted or privately shared project is not necessarily equivalent to a confidential or encrypted communication channel. Access controls are intended to restrict access, but you should not rely on the service as the sole protection for information that requires specialized security controls.

You retain ownership of content that you submit, upload, create, or otherwise provide to Wott AI, subject to the rights and licenses described in these Terms.

Your content may include text, Markdown documents, notebook content, files, project descriptions, metadata, comments, links, and other information that you intentionally store in the service.

You are responsible for the content you provide and for ensuring that your content does not violate applicable law, these Terms, or the rights of others.

You must not upload or submit content that you do not have the right to store, process, share, or otherwise use in connection with the service.

You grant Wott Technologies a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, index, display, and otherwise use your content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the features you request from Wott AI.

This license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

For example, this license allows us to store your notebooks, maintain project indexes, perform searches you request, synchronize content across supported services, enforce permissions, create necessary technical copies, and return requested content through authorized integrations.

Where you intentionally make content public or share it with other users, the service may process and display that content according to the sharing settings you choose.

Wott AI may create indexes and other derived representations of your project content to provide search, retrieval, ranking, and related functionality.

Search functionality may use multiple retrieval techniques to identify relevant notebooks and project information.

When you request an AI-assisted workflow, relevant project or notebook information may be retrieved and provided to the AI system or integration necessary to fulfill that request.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it for important decisions.

Wott AI does not represent that AI-generated output is always accurate or that it will identify every relevant piece of information in your workspace.

Wott AI may provide integrations with third-party AI assistants and applications through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), OAuth, APIs, or other supported integration mechanisms.

These integrations may allow an authorized third-party application to request information from your Wott AI workspace or perform actions that you explicitly authorize through the available tools and permissions.

For example, an authorized MCP client may be able to list your projects, search a project, read a notebook, create a project, create or update a notebook, or delete a notebook when the corresponding capability is available and authorized.

The specific actions available to a third-party integration depend on the tools exposed by Wott AI, your authorization, the third party's capabilities, and the permissions associated with your account.

Third-party applications operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and data practices. Your use of a third-party AI service is also governed by the terms and policies of that provider.

We do not control how an independent third-party AI provider processes information after that provider receives information through an authorized integration. You should review the applicable third-party terms and privacy documentation before enabling an integration.

Some integrations use OAuth to allow you to authorize a third-party application to access your Wott AI account.

OAuth authorization may use authorization codes, PKCE, scoped access tokens, and other security mechanisms appropriate for the integration.

You should review the permissions requested during an authorization flow before granting access.

You may stop using or revoke an integration through the controls made available by the relevant service. Revoking access may prevent future requests from being authorized but may not automatically delete information that was previously transferred to the third-party service.

Some integrations expose specific actions through MCP tools. Tool descriptions and permissions are intended to correspond to the actual functionality provided by the service.

Read-only tools may retrieve project or notebook information without changing stored content.

Mutation tools may create or update projects or notebooks.

Destructive tools may permanently delete notebooks or other supported resources when the user explicitly requests the action and the account has sufficient permission.

You are responsible for reviewing an action before authorizing it when the action may modify or delete information.

We may restrict, disable, or modify integration capabilities when necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or service maintenance.

You may use Wott AI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Wott Technologies and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Wott AI service, including its software, interfaces, branding, designs, documentation, infrastructure, and other proprietary materials, except for content owned by users or third parties.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of our trademarks, logos, software, source code, or other intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the service except where applicable law expressly permits such activity or we have given you written permission.

Feedback you provide about the service may be used by us to improve the service without creating an obligation to compensate you, provided that we do not use your feedback to identify you publicly without appropriate permission.

Wott AI may depend on third-party infrastructure, authentication providers, cloud storage providers, AI providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, and other service providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services may be subject to those additional terms.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services that are outside our reasonable control, including outages, policy changes, data practices, or changes to APIs provided by third parties.

Some features may require a paid subscription, credits, or another form of paid access.

Pricing, billing intervals, included usage, credits, plan limits, and available features are presented through the applicable product or billing interface.

You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method associated with your purchase according to the selected plan or transaction.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where we expressly provide a refund.

Unused credits, usage allowances, or plan benefits may expire, reset, or be subject to limits described at the time they are provided.

We may change pricing or plan structures prospectively. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes before they take effect.

Wott AI may offer enterprise plans or services with additional administrative, security, support, billing, or contractual features.

Enterprise customers may have organization-level administrators who manage users, access, permissions, and other workspace settings.

If an organization enters into a separate written agreement with Wott Technologies, that agreement may control where it conflicts with these Terms for the services covered by the agreement.

We aim to keep Wott AI available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure failures, security incidents, third-party outages, network failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may temporarily restrict access to features or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third parties, or the security of our infrastructure.

You may stop using Wott AI at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account or feature if reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, security risks, fraudulent activity, legal requirements, non-payment, abuse, or significant operational risks.

Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice before taking action unless immediate action is necessary to protect the service, users, third parties, or comply with law.

Termination does not automatically eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, limitations of liability, disclaimers, dispute resolution, and applicable payment obligations.

You may have controls that allow you to delete projects, notebooks, files, or your account, subject to the capabilities and policies applicable to your plan.

Deletion of a project or notebook may be permanent and may remove associated stored data, indexes, metadata, or related resources where supported.

Deleting content from Wott AI does not necessarily delete copies that were independently retained by third-party services after you intentionally shared or transmitted that content to those services.

Some information may need to be retained for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, financial records, or backup recovery, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our collection, use, storage, sharing, and retention of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, project and notebook content, memberships, project sharing information, authentication information, integration activity, and other information associated with your use of the service.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Wott AI provides access controls and security measures designed to protect user information, but no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

You should evaluate whether the service is appropriate for highly regulated, classified, or unusually sensitive information before storing or processing such information.

If you require contractual security, privacy, data processing, or compliance commitments beyond these Terms, an enterprise agreement or other written agreement may be required.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wott AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, accurate, complete, current, or free from errors.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content, search results, summaries, classifications, recommendations, or other generated information will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for independently evaluating information obtained through Wott AI, particularly when using it for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, employment, educational, or other high-impact decisions.

Nothing in the service should be interpreted as professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wott Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to us for the applicable service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wott Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of third-party rights, or content you submit or publicly share through the service.

This provision does not require you to indemnify us for claims caused by our own unlawful conduct or obligations that cannot legally be transferred to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or through another reasonable method.

The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the updated Terms. Your continued use of Wott AI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating Wott AI, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service will be handled through the courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms having appropriate jurisdiction over the parties, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory statutory rights or dispute-resolution procedures, nothing in this section is intended to remove those rights.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits such transfer.

We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable written agreements or plan-specific terms, constitute the agreement governing your use of the applicable service.
